The course also covers how the various components of the system can affect energy efficiency and total performance and how designing with high-performance glass packages, framing systems, innovative thermal barriers, and spacer systems can impact long-term performance.
This course describes the quality differences in different types of architectural finishes for aluminum windows and doors. During the presentation, you will discover the pros and cons of anodizing, liquid PVDF, and powder coat finishes and demonstrate the benefits of hard coat finish. The course identifies the environmental benefits of powder coat finish and the quality enhancements to an aluminum window.
This course covers the different types of window configurations. It also shows the benefits of different window configurations, including safety, ADA, thermal, sound, water, and structural performance benefits.
