Palletized Shipping | Warehouse Strategy

What happens if a project is delayed due to late products? Have you ever dealt with the slow unloading of trucks on job sites only to be charged with detention fees? Shipping damage can also be a headache and delay project schedules for weeks.

At Peerless, we work with the industry's best logistics partners to help with the cost, visibility, tracking, and deliveries.  Taking on our Nevada facility has allowed us to provide a secure warehousing facility in order to build projects early and arrive on site when you want it! Horizontal palletizing windows give our customers the least amount of shipping damage and the most efficient way to offload trucks along with the ability to store pallets in their own warehouse. We have recently added to capability to ship on Conestoga trailers which allow for easy efficient offloading directly to the project floor.

  • Windows are palletized horizontally with protective film applied to the window frame. This saves space and gets more windows per truckload.
  • Pallets are organized by the truckload in our ISG warehouse for quick and easy shipping when our customers need them!
  • Conestoga trailers look like the standard trailer but come with the ability to retract fully.
  • Once the Conestoga is uncovered, the product can be unloaded from either side, the back, or craned off from overhead.
  • Crane can hoist pallets onto a specific floor with proper strapping.
Statement from Customer on shipping system:

“The Peerless palletizing system allows me to unload and move my windows to their job site location faster than ever before. I use one guy with a forklift now instead of eight. This saves me a lot on my labor costs. Plus, my windows are protected in pallets so they stay in perfect condition while on my job site waiting to be installed.”
