1410 Grand - Window City Collaborates with Peerless Products To Complete Massive Door Install in New Jersey

Nationwide commercial window supplier and installer, Window City, completed a custom window and door install at the multi-family condominium building in Hoboken, New Jersey. Window City collaborated with window manufacturer, Peerless Products, Inc., on the planning and design in order to meet structural requirements for the building. This intensive project required custom windows and door sizes to fit the gigantic openings measuring up to 20ft wide.

Peerless Products and Window City worked together in determining the best door option for the building’s needs. Window City’s in-house crew installed more than 20 custom doors with transom and over 10 massive storefront doors throughout the multi-building project. These custom doors made by Peerless, have a frame depth of 4 1/4” and a glass thickness of 1”. The door is able to achieve a higher thermal performance because of a true polyamide piece inserted into the frame. This allows the frame to be separated in the middle and rejoined which positions the thermal break under each panel inserted into the frame. Economically energy efficient, the doors provide enhanced safety and durability.
